Deanston Virgin Oak

Crafted by hand, this Deanston is first matured in ex-bourbon casks from a family run cooperage in Kentucky, creating its subtle bu zesty character. The golden spirit is then finished in Virgin Oak casks, adding delicate spicy aromas. Amber gold in colour and un-chill filtered. Fresh, summery aromas of heather honey and vanilla, green apples with citrus zest and hints of sweet malt and spice. On the palate there’s candied fruits, soft creamy toffee, citrus zest and hint of ginger and clove. A lightly spiced finish with a burst of honeyed malt, citrus and sweet oakiness.
