Varieties : A large majority of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc (depending on the vintage)
Terroir and winemaking : The estate vineyard covers 65 hectares. The vines, with an average age of 30 to 35 years, are planted on clay-limestone hillsides covered with stony gravel. All our plots are cultivated according to a reasoned farming approach and are fertilized with natural organic materials. We harvest the grapes at optimal maturity, we practice a malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine is aged in barrels of one to two wines for 12 months.
Tasting : The nose is complex and expresses a beautiful diversity of black fruit aromas. The mouth is long and the tannins melted with a concentration of black fruits such as blackcurrant, blackberries as well as a few touches of cocoa and spices. A balanced and very pleasant wine.
Enjoy it at around 15-18 ° C, 5 to 10 years following the harvest.
